Privacy policy

An operational estimate form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, job address, requested service, project comments, and any JPG or PNG photos you choose to submit. Photos can reveal people, property details, location information, or embedded metadata.

Provide only information needed to discuss your project. Do not submit passwords, payment details, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other sensitive records. Only share photos and information you have permission to provide.

Our hosting infrastructure and server may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and error information to operate the site, limit abuse, and troubleshoot problems.

• Live form: submitted details and photos are processed by the server and sent by email to CV Excavation through Resend. Successful email delivery does not confirm that the crew has reviewed or accepted a project.
• Testing mode: when the form displays a testing notice, use sample details only. Submissions go to the configured test inbox, not the business inbox, and do not place a project request with the crew.
• Disconnected standalone preview: when a copy of the site says its form is disconnected or shows “Not sent,” entries and selected photos remain in the browser. That copy does not send inquiries, upload photos, or perform address lookups.

A separately hosted copy with a different operator or a newly connected backend must have a policy that describes that operator's actual practices.

In live operation, we use project information to assess service coverage and scope, estimate travel distance, respond to inquiries, and communicate about potential work. Technical information helps protect and maintain the service. Testing information is used to check the form and delivery process.

This website does not provide customer accounts or online payment collection. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

• Hosting and technical infrastructure: the live website and its API are hosted on Replit. Infrastructure providers process requests and technical information needed to deliver the service.
• U.S. Census Bureau geocoder: when estimating travel distance, our server sends the submitted job street address and the business starting address to the Census geocoder to match U.S. street addresses and obtain coordinates.
• Geoapify: address text is sent through our API for suggestions as you type. For a driving-distance estimate, our server sends the starting and job-location coordinates obtained from Census address matching to Geoapify. Routing data uses OpenStreetMap contributors.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: the live estimate form uses a security widget to help distinguish people from automated requests. Cloudflare may process browser and network information, including IP addresses and technical signals. Our server's verification call includes the challenge token, not your contact details, job address, project notes, or photos. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Resend and receiving email systems: contact details, project information, and submitted photos are processed for email delivery. The receiving inbox and service providers may retain messages and attachments under their own policies.

The disconnected standalone preview does not load Turnstile, make Census or Geoapify lookups, or send information or photos through Resend or receiving email systems.

Relevant personnel and service providers may access information to handle the inquiry or operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent abuse, or transfer business operations, subject to applicable law.

The current website form sends requests by email rather than creating a customer-account record or estimate database. Delivered emails and photos may remain in receiving inboxes, provider systems, and backups. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, operational needs, provider practices, and applicable legal obligations; we do not promise a fixed automatic deletion period.

We use reasonable technical measures, but no website, email service, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Please call instead of sending highly sensitive information.

We have not added advertising pixels or optional analytics tools to this website. It does not use a marketing-cookie consent banner. Hosting and security services may process usage and technical connection information, and essential browser features may be used to operate the site.

While you complete an inquiry, essential browser session storage may hold a random draft identifier to help prevent duplicate emails when retrying. It does not store your contact details, job address, project notes, or photos. The identifier is removed after confirmed submission when browser storage is available.

You can control cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If advertising, analytics, or other nonessential tracking is added, this notice and any consent controls must be updated before that tracking is enabled.

The website and standalone handoff copy host their fonts locally; loading those fonts does not require a browser request to Google Fonts.

You may choose not to use the form and contact us by phone instead. You can ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you provided. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law; requests may require verification, and some records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons.

Do not include other people's private information without permission. This site is intended for project inquiries from adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
